The Banana Peel Circuit Poem

The Banana Peel Circuit

Circuit of banana peels,

Life’s humor never fails,

Upon the hotel table,

’Twas this fruit of yellow-brown,

And so I thus created,

From what’s left of life’s design,

A smile caused by something,

That would turn life upside-down,

For what is called a circuit,

But the rat race we call life,

And what is a banana peel,

That causes shoes to slip,

Yet even in the darkest times,

When frowning is the norm,

A simple new perspective,

Can cause life itself to flip.
